On Thursday 30th March we organised a new Coffee with BNFIX, this time dedicated to the Spanish and Portuguese regulations to attract tax residents and presented by Alba Pich and José Maria Hinojal.

In the session (in English), the head of international taxation, Carolina Mateo, and the tax partner from DFK Portugal, Augusto Paulino, talked, among many other topics, about the requirements and formalities required by each country for non-residents wishing to establish in their respective countries (especially at tax and Social Security level), the general taxation of each country, the conditions to be met for the consideration of permanent establishment and the operation of the double taxation treaty and its exemptions.
